This is going to be quick as I don't have wonderful free Internet anymore...
There was a bunch of Japan posts that didn't get posted so I will post them now but I don't know where they will turn up... Happy Hunting.
Just a few random thoughts that spring to mind:
- I am living in a mountain hut on site (a 20 second walk to work)with a Swiss guy and the general manager of the nursery.
- I have no vehicle (It is a necessity to have a car in NZ there is no public transport near me).
- The nearest town is an hours walk away and takes 15 minutes just to get to the front gate of the nursery.
- The Blog is now existing in paper and pen format and so is only viewable by... me.
- I am looking forward to a two day weekend!
There is probably more but at the moment my head is a bit scrambled and the Internet cafe timer is clicking away...
Fear not I will endeavour to get back to the old situation but it may take a couple of weeks.
Bye Bye

I am keeping a beady eye on your blog and sending you lots of good wishes. After all your gadding about it must seem strange to be geographically static. Just remember that the majority of the world's population do not have cars so this in itself will be an education for the soul. Sometimes we learn more from situations we would not chose.
Dear Matthew, So pleased you arrived safe and sound. The blogs are great. Hope your readers found them OK. We had to go back to "the last Japanese post- maybe" to the Little Things and then the Big Players. After these two reports we clicked on "Other Posts" for Big Players Otosan and Okasan.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope you manage to obtain a new computer meanwhile we hope you have settled in and every thing is going well.
Lots of love,
Granny and Grandad xxxx
Still checking - hope you are ok.
Wwaaaaaaa! Hows you? Just a quick note from all of us here at Langley. Cheers for the post card, shows your still thinking of us all here, have just started doing the best job of the year.......... cutting clems!
You know you miss it?!
Hope lifes all good in NZ, sounds nice from the breif blog you have on your page.
Everythings good here at the moment, not much has changed apart from a few people leaving and joining. No more Suzy, Lurdes, Clinton, Pauline and no more Jez. Shame to see most of them go, not all though. I'm sure you know which ones I'm talking about!
Alec now has planning permission and all the rest of the legal crap that means he can now start his house. Kens still a grump, almost reached new heights with his grumpy-ness recently. All the girls are good, chatting away! Jez is back now from NZ, started his new job and sounds like he likes it, have not seen him yet to confirm these rumours. As for me and the lads here, we are all good at the moment.
When you back in good old Blighty?
Take it easy son, see you real soon,
Chris and the 'Langley Lions'.
p.s - who sings the thanks for the fish song?
Thanks for the well wishes.
Chris me old mucker sounds like a bit of a change around for the old baldwins bods.
The song is ny Neil Hannon from "The Divine Comedy" and features on the album: 'The Hitchhikers Guide to tyhe Galaxy'
