Apologies I appear to be suffering from some kind of writers block!!!
Summing up my time here is becoming too difficult to put into words but it is late at night so lets see what my mind spills out:
It has been an incredible time and honestly if IAEA suddenly turned and said they didn't have a place for me I would not hesitate to stay here for another 6 months. Those supposedly quashed ideas of staying here have risen again and I really haven't given much thought to New Zealand.
Everytime I go out with Noritaka and his pals it just seems to magnify my longing to stay, It is like a kind of torture albeit a very mild kind of torture that doesn't hurt physically....
Anyway to give Japan its full conclusion I think I need a bit of time to reflect, So for now I will go over the things I will miss the most
... On a practical note, things could be a bit text heavy, and fast paced. Also there may be a 2 - 3 week period of irregular posting as
A) There is no guaranteed Internet connection in NZ and
B) Even if there is I have sold my computer to Kim so I need to secure a new computer as well.
But I will endeavour to keep writing about Japan even though there is so much to write and so little time!!!

Dear Matthew,Your time in Japan is ticking by. We know you will miss your friends, we will miss them too, especially that cheeky faced Kim. You will also miss Otosan and his family who has given you so many opportunities to become involved with the people and the place. You have become very friendly with Norataka the caligraphy teachers son. What happened to the caligraphy, have you still been learning.
Thank everyone from us for their participation in making your trip so memorable.
Now you must look forward to NZ. It sounds as though it will have exciting and interesting prospects for you.
Keep smiling.
Safe journey,
All our love,
Granny and Grandad xxxx
Hi Matthew
Hope leaving Japan isn't too hard! A lot of the reason you have got on so well there is down to you and the way you treat people. I am sure the same will happen in New Zealand.
Say goodbye to Kim and Druey, (sorry I can't remember how to spell his name)from all of us - maybe they will visit England one day and we can show them the night life in Liss!!
Is anyone taking your place - I bet they won't be as much fun as you!
Hear from you soon - I hope.
Good Luck - Safe Journey - Take Care
Love
Auntie Deborah x x, Alice x & Thomas
