Most people say a good blog is one that is contributed to regularly...
Other people say if you haven't got anything interesting to say don't say anything...
Not a lot has been going on but I thought I would post something anyway:
Otosan returns today, supposedly with 3 bottles of tequilla and hopefully a large sombrero. It has been difficult without him and there have been a few misunderstandings but I think we just about managed.
Also ,speaking of misunderstandings, there doesn't actually seem to be such a thing as a rainy season. It has rained very lightly twice in the last 30 days, which to be honest is dissapointing. Mainly because I wanted to experience a Typhoon but also because it is incredibly hot (around 30 degrees) and humid.
Thats about it... I think I may take a break until something crazy or amazing or notable happens...
PS The earthquake tally is up to 6.

Hi Matthew,
Why has the Tanuki and general info gone right to the bottom of the blog?
I (and others) are interested in the minutiae of your life (sadly?) so any news, within reason, is interesting.
I appreciate that it may be a pain to write the blog, but think of it as a public service!
Take care out there.
I agree with your Dad - I really enjoy reading your blog and look to see if it has been updated every day.
Can't you create anymore films? - maybe Grandma would like to appear in one.
If not how about Geoffrey - he sounds a very nice man, I am sure he has more he could tell us.
Please keep on blogging!!
Love
Auntie Deborah
Matt, if you wanted to experience a rainy season you should have stayed in Liss.... no-one should vewnture out without a large umbrella these days.
I managed to load Geoffrey in the end....a clever angle to take!
Apart from the aubergine, is fruit and veg a very prominent part of the Japanese diet?
