Things I have Learnt This Week

Ladies and Gentlemen everything is back on track!!!

It has been a very busy week but that hasn't stopped my little ole' mind from having stuff put inside it...

The things I have learned:

  • How to eat something you absoloutely hate (like a whole squid) without vomitting. Answer: just eat it and stop being a big ninny.

  • How to exploit a situation where I am supposed to be teaching english -using the small children to teach me Japanese (I think this week I learned more Japanese than the children learned English... I feel slightly guilty)

  • Nicolas Cage is insane -Proof that if you pay a Hollywood megastar enough money they will do anything, no matter how much integrity is at stake!

  • Cleaning swimming pools is fun - I think I might take it up as a career.

  • To build a house in the Philipines costs £4,000, to build a really nice house in the Philipines costs £10,000 - Who wants to help me build a house in the Philipines?

  • The funniest thing I have found on Myspace yet - If you know my good chum Bambling it is very funny, if you don't then you are lucky and it is still funny! Listen to Bamblings Ramblings for much laughter.

  • Isesacki is fun - The lads from calligraphy last week invited me out to Isesacki for a whistle stop tour of quirky shops (that stay open till 2), night clubs (that stay open till 5) and arcade plazas (that never close!).

  • A (second rate) rival travel site/blog has been set up to try and steal my readership... But seriously, have fun brother Jimbob and don't do anything I wouldn't do... That means you can do pretty much do anything you want!!!

I think that is all for now except maybe to wish Mr Buck lots of luck in his quest to find the perfect degree... I imagine the final exams are taking place soon. You should feel lucky because I almost wrote a whole poem based around rhyming buck, luck, duck e.t.c but I couldn't think of any other words that rhyme with Buck... (Comment moderation is now switched on)

Oh and lastly Happy Birthday to Ubachan for tomorrow who will be the ripe old age of 82!

Bye bye everybody, Bye bye...

Glad to hear everything is okay now, was a little bothered by your previous post but I was sure you just got the tail end of a bad day.

I did love the photo of you cleaning the pool. Was a matt man classic.

Hi,
I don't seem to be able to add another photo to the corkboard. Is there a usage limit on it?

Oh. Now I feel guilty for finding this entry late. Thanks mate, and good to see you're having fun again. By the way, nice pictures in the next entry. Seems like a beautiful place.
